MSME Fiji
Following the commencement of the Small and Micro Enterprises Development (Repeal) Act on 10 December 2019, the Micro Small Medium Enterprises (MSME) Fiji was established under the Ministry of Commerce, Trade, Tourism and Transport.
Who Are We?
MSME Fiji is responsible to formulate, implement and enhance policies and strategies for the development of MSMEs.
What We Do?
MSME Fiji facilitates business training, mentoring, advisory, incubation services and access to finance.
MSME Fiji is responsible for monitoring and evaluating the implementation of MSME-related projects.
MSME Fiji also offers a wide range of funding opportunities to various segments of the business community. From micro businesses, to rural businesses and group funding, to young and inspiring youth entrepreneurs and to exporters.
Overall, MSME Fiji strives towards making doing business easier, improve the services available to MSMEs by the Fijian Government and exclusively facilitate the sustainable development of MSMEs.

Micro Small Business Grant
Young Entrepreneurship Scheme
The Young Entrepreneurship Scheme or the YES is an initiative targeting the development of young business entrepreneurs with innovative ideas.
Research and Innovation Scheme for Enterprises
The RISE programme specifically targets established and successful Fijian businesses by encouraging them to invest in Research and Development (R&D), science and innovation.
National Export Strategy
The National Export Strategy (NES) is a Fijian Government initiative, which aims to assist existing and new exporters in achieving competitiveness, value addition, export diversification and growth in targeted markets overseas.
Integrated Human Resources Development Programme
The IHRDP Unit addresses unemployment through a holistic and integrated approach by combining the efforts and resources of the public, private and civil society sectors.
